Tracey Jackson

The Jamarican

Tracey Jackson is a South Florida based speaker and author. She has several self-published works: From The Valley To The Mountaintop - Lessons from the Journey (Inspirational), The Summer of Chances (full-length African American fiction novel), and "From Yaad" (Caribbean themed short novel).

Her literary work has also appeared in several anthologies (The HBCU Band Experience, Waterproof: Evidence of a Miami Worth Remembering by O Miami and A New Renaissance: A Celebration of African American Fiction). She's written for various newspapers and online magazines (The Miami Times and Midnight & Indigo) Tracey is the 2022 and the reigning 2023 Moth Miami GrandSLAM Storyteller Champion.

Tracey possesses a 20+ year career in information technology as a Principal User Experience/ Digital Product Designer & Strategist where she has worked under Kaplan/Purdue Global, Pricewaterhouse Coopers Digital, Abbott Informatics and UnitedHealth Group/Optum.

She is a proud member of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association and the Miami Gardens/Eta Nu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated.
